Open the application launcher on your Android device and tap the "Market" icon. Tap the magnifying glass icon and type "Voice Search." Press "Enter" and then choose the Google Voice Search application from the list. It will have a microphone icon and the listed developer will be Google Inc. Touch the "Download" button on the app page and then touch "Accept and Download." Note that if you already have a previous version installed you will just need to tap the "Update" button. Once the app is installed touch "Open."
2Press "Accept" in the notification window that pops up. This turns on the personalization feature and allows Google to save your voice recording data with your Google account. Speak your Voice Action and it will process. If there is an error, correct it and Google Voice Search will learn how you pronounce the words for the next time.
3Manage your Google Voice Search data on your Google Dashboard, which can be found at google.com/dashboard. Log in with the same Google Account as you have associated with your Android device. Scroll to the "Speech" section, there you can view the data saved and, if you want, delete it from Google's servers.
Change the language that Google Voice is expecting to hear to account for your accent. Tap the "Home" button and then press "Menu." Touch "Settings" on the screen and then select "Voice Input and Output." Tap "Voice Recognition Settings" and then "Language." Choose the dialect you speak, for example "English (Canada)."
