How to Make Google Letters Move Around

The Google Gravity website, featured in Smashing Magazine as a "bizarre site on which you can kill time," lets you make the page elements (including the Google logo) of Google's home page move or fly around in an entertaining fashion. Not only is the site fun to play with, but it's functional as well; you can perform a basic Google search once you've finished moving the page elements around.

1

Visit the Google Gravity website.

2

Move your cursor over the screen. All the links and text on the Google home page, including the logo, will fall to the bottom of the page.

3

Click the Google logo or page element you want to move around. Hold your mouse button down and drag the element around the page. Hit the element against other elements to send them flying around the page.

4

Click the search box element if you want to perform a Google search. Type your text and hit "Enter," or click on the "Search" button, if you can find it among the rubble.

Google Gravity uses HTML5, which is supported by most modern browsers, including the latest version of Internet Explorer. If you are using an older, outdated version of a Web browser, Google Gravity may not display correctly.
