How to Make Google TV Work With ABC

To get CBS shows on Google TV, you can change the user agent in the "Chrome Chrome" application, so that the CBS website recognizes it as a desktop computer. This browser setting tricks the website into seeing Google TV as a normal computer, thus letting you watch the CBS content you want to see.

Turn on the power to the Google TV device.

Use the remote control to go to the "Apps" section; then scroll over to the "Google Chrome" app. Press the "OK" button to launch the browser.

Press the "Menu" button, scroll over to "Incognito Window" and hit "OK." On the next screen, press the "Menu" button again, and then select "More."

Go to the "Advanced" menu and select "Settings." On the "Settings" screen, select the "Mode" option and change the value to "Custom."

Pick the "Custom Value" option, and then use the remote control to type in the word "Desktop" in the text field.

Press the "Back" button until you get back to the main Google Chrome browser window. Go to the address bar, type "cbs.com" in the box and press the "Enter" key on the remote. The CBS website loads. Browse the site for a new episode or favorite show to watch.
